Projects Supported by the CDF

EVER WONDERED WHAT THE CDF DOES WITH YOUR MONEY?

With 27 parishes in the diocese and over 8000 students attending our 27 schools, the financial demands on our resources continue to grow. Our aim is to expand the fund to meet these needs.

By investing some of your capital in the CDF you can assist, in a very practical way, the mission of the Church.

Here are some of the many projects that have been made possible through your generous support:

Dawesville Catholic Primary School
The completion of the school’s initial building program has meant
that all students are now housed in new facilities. The final phase
of the stage 2 building project will also be
financially assisted by the CDF

In addition to loaning funds for new buildings and extensions to schools and parishes, your support enables the CDF to respond promptly to urgent or emergency situations requiring financial support. When sections of ceiling in Our Lady’s Assumption church in Mandurah collapsed unexpectedly, the CDF was able to provide loan funds quickly to the parish to undertake remedial work. Now completed, the work has restored the beauty and functionality of the church so that regular church services have returned, and the inconvenience to parishioners minimised
