The Catholic Diocese of Bunbury is seeking an enthusiastic staff member (0.5 full time equivalent offering flexible working hours) to be responsible for the overall accounting and financial reporting function of the Diocese and its activities.
Specifically, the position will attend to the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, budgeting, statutory and taxation compliance and maintaining internal controls.
The successful applicant will have a degree in Business. Commerce or Accountancy and be a member of Chartered Accountants Australia or CPA Australia. Reporting to the Diocesan Financial Administrator and working closely with the Diocesan Bookkeeper as part of a small team, you will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, excellent planning, communication and interpersonal skills, a high level of analytical and numerical skills, a demonstrated knowledge of MYOB Accounting Software and advance Microsoft Excel skills.
